As I am sure you are aware, COVID 19 is an unprecedented virus that has affected everyone in one way or another.
At Penny Pot we are taking every precaution to safeguard all the residents and staff. Since the beginning, the provider had supplied the home with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to help prevent the spread of this virus.
Our staff are tested twice weekly, and the residents are tested every 28 days as per government guidelines.
We understand that receiving visitors is an integral part of our resident’s lives and, as per government guidelines, two allocated visitors can be permitted to attend the premises.
We ask that each visitor takes note of our Visitor Protocol, be prepared to take a Lateral Flow Test, wear gloves and a mask. Holding hands is permitted, however visitors will be asked not to hug, kiss etc. Exceptions on numbers of visitors will be allowed for any individual that is receiving palliative care.
To help maintain contact, we do have the resources to host “facetime” and other video calls, so that you may still see and talk to your loved ones. Please call the home on 01255 424077 for more information on this.
We hope you all stay safe and well, and we hope to see you in the near future.
